The 91��-Platteville's History Department is sponsoring a discussion on the role of immigration in our region, featuring Alex Baum, director of Advocacy, Data and Learning at the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque. The event will take place on Monday, April 29, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Doudna 103, and is free and open to the public.

Symposium to address pandemic impacts on women in Wisconsin

UW-Platteville will host a symposium, “Caregiving, Race, and Gender: COVID-19 Impacts on Women in Wisconsin,” on Tuesday, March 22 and Wednesday, March 23. The symposium, open to the public, is funded in part by a grant from Wisconsin Humanities, with funds from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
